I hate Biographies, they’re  always over exaggerated and bombarded with useless information that hardly anyone reads. There is nothing worse than hearing someone ramble on about what they did from age 4 upwards and to be quite honest Im not sure pursuing a music career was on my mind at that age, dancing to any Michael Jackson song I heard sounds more like it lol..  so anyway  instead I’ve decided to write you my own version of a personal bio… any questions feel free to ask

What do you do exactly: I have a production company that I have just started, I compose music,write songs, sing and enjoy music production.

So who is Jasmin: errr me?. lol .. Well Jasmin is an artist of all sorts..an artist who is interested in Music,fashion,technology, youth culture and visual arts.

So where are you based: London/LA

So what are your plans after putting together your promo EP: Im currently in the process of putting an album together.. oh and some shows and exciting projects that I cant talk about right now!  Watch this space lol

So what is you opinion on the direction of music today:  Well with the development in technology,  it has obviously made the almost impossible possible for  striving musicians/producers. Nearly Anything is possible with the amount of music software programs available on the market.. but I guess the real question is with all the advances we have with technology do we loose the essence of real music? I think the direction in which music has been heading for the last few years due to lack of cd sales and mp3 downloads  etc… is the live route. If you can do it live, then thats the way to go… we want more than just your record, if your digital then get on stage and do it live!! On that note a great band and example of live digital music is Passion Pit.. these guys are innovative with their use of old and new sounds:

Whats with your obsession with pocket watches?: Time interests me, clocks,watches, numbers etc..  and I generally love old fashioned things like pocket watches

So what is the typical day in the life of Jasmin? Get up, Tea,milk with two spoons of sugar please.. I hate mornings with a passion. Run my errands which usually centre around my music, finish of writing at home or get in the studio. Hang out with my friends past dark.. then back to music. lol
